Arnold's Success Story
Arnold first up for adoption as Big Fella
Sunday, 22nd of January 2017
Here is what we said about this Arnold when we first put him up for adoption. He was named Big Fella back then.
Big Fella is a tiny Chihuahua who just happens to be the biggest of three puppies. He weighed in at 1.8 kg on Saturday, 16th of January 2016 and is slowly gaining some weight. Now he is at 2.7 kg!
He is the healthiest of the three pups. His date of birth is Tuesday, 2nd of February 2016. He has had no training whatsoever, and is far from toilet trained. No children for this little man. He has been fully immunised, given worm and flea treatments and has been desexed and microchipped. He has had all retained baby teeth removed.
Arnold found his loving forever home
Sunday, 05th of February 2017
Arnold found his new forever loving home today! We wish him all the best on the seaside. We wrote about it in this Facebook post.
Arnold (nee Big Fella) has very happily taken off from Chihuahua Rescue Victoria headquarters this afternoon to try out his new home. Incidentally he is not all that big - he is just the first born in his litter. We know you are going to love your new seaside home Arnold. We love you darling little man.
Arnold loving his seaside home and new companion
Monday, 24th of April 2017
This is from a wonderful Facebook update on Arnold! It appears he has really settled into his new home.
Thanks so much for letting me adopt Big fella in February and I have now named him Arnold because he is so big and strong. He is now house trained and a very happy young man.
He loves other Chihuahuas and all other dogs. He likes trips down to the great ocean road and has made lots of friends in our local park. I have attached some photos of our new life. And yes in the last photo he is hugging his friend Nacho. Please feel free to share these photos and I will send more along the way
